Vienna Opera House

Because of an album that Billy Joel did years ago I have always wanted to come to Vienna. It was a recording he did at a college where he explained the where and why to his songs, Vienna always being one of my favorite. I found the city being bigger than I imagined and newer in many ways, but still the old city has so much charm and it is a place where the old world and new converge. I spotted this location on an afternoon walk, a terrace on the second floor overlooking the Opera. After going to see a movie I returned about 11pm and photographed for over an hour. I think the image captures the feeling I had in this city!
